Her background is from Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), India. I would like to thank many LAB partners for making Mariya's experience in LAB a pleasant one. Having Mariya join the lab and taking advantage of her excellent abilities, I am confident the results of our lab's research this year will be outstanding. ~ The Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) was launched in 2015 by the Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE) to encourage more international students to participate in short-term professional internship projects organized by Taiwanese universities and colleges. ~ JMI is one of the top public universities in New Delhi, India. It is ranked #851-900 in QS World University Rankings 2025. JMI has secured the first position among all the central universities in the country in the ranking that was released by the Ministry of Education with a score of 90 per cent. It was ranked 12th in India overall by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023, 3rd among universities.

Asia University's Biomedical Lab recently welcomed visitors from the Institute Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). During the visit, we showcased our current research activities, including studies on the effects of varying air insole pressures and walking durations on foot stiffness and thickness. We also introduced our innovative insole designs and discussed what students can expect to learn in the Digital Media Design program at Asia University, highlighting our commitment to cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary education.

FacebookWe are delighted to announce that two talented students have recently joined our lab under the guidance of Prof. Chi-Wen Lung through the NSTC International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP)! MR. Kiem Do, from Vietnam, is pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science at Phenikaa Nano Institute, Phenikaa University, Vietnam's top-ranked institution according to the Nature Index. His research focuses on electrodeposition methods for electrochemistry and gas sensor applications. Ms. Ghayda Boussada, from Tunisia, is a first-year Master’s student specializing in Cybersecurity at the Higher Institute of Computer Science and Multimedia of Gabes. To warmly welcome them, Prof. Lung hosted a delightful welcome dinner, creating an excellent opportunity for the team to connect, share experiences, and exchange ideas. This marks the start of a collaborative and enriching journey. The IIPP program, supported by Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), offers international students unique research opportunities in Taiwan. By connecting students with leading academic institutions and cutting-edge projects, IIPP aims to build a global research network and strengthen Taiwan’s contributions to science and technology advancements.
